Sweet young Salem was turned into the shelter after being found wandering with a tremendous wound on her side. It looked like "road rash" so we wonder what this poor little girl went through. She is a young approximately 1 yr old sweetheart who is mellow and loving and purrs with a deep, deep rumble! She is also a Manx which means she has NO tail! So adorable. Salem is now healing from her wound and is beginning to look for her new forever family. (Her previous family surrendered her when contacted by the shelter as they didn't want to pay for her wound care). Can you be that forever family to this sweetheart? She's not been around other cats, dogs or kids, but is very mellow and should do fine with proper introduction. Her adoption fee is less than $40 and includes her spay, initial vaccinations, rabies, microchip and Feline Leuk/FIV testing.
