Sweet Panther was recently surrendered (along with his 5 siblings) to the shelter by his owner who could no longer care for him. He was very frightened at the shelter where he was separated from his kitty companions. When he entered foster care with one of his sisters, Troubles (A399066), he felt much better and calmed down almost immediately. The first night with his foster mom, he curled up in her lap and purred. He is still a little shy and sometimes jumps at loud noises, but he is getting more courageous each day. Panther is great at giving head bumps, loves human attention and comes when his foster mom calls him over. It would best if he's adopted with Troubles into a forever family who understands timid kitties and will give him time to feel comfortable in his new environment. Since not much is known about his previous life, we can only guess that he will do well with other animals with proper introduction. He has a healthy appetite and always uses the litter box. It seems he is unfamiliar with toys, but he is curious so he might learn how to play once he's settled in.
