Meet Almond! This adorable little kitten arrived at the shelter on June 11 and has been in foster care since. She’s thriving in foster care and growing like a weed. Almond is VERY friendly and outgoing. She’s initially a little head shy when meeting new people, but quick to warm up in mere seconds. She enjoys being picked up and purrs plenty. Typically kittens are raised in litters, but Almond arrived at the shelter by herself and is now in foster care on her own. She enjoys being the center of attention when people are around and has shown no issue when observing other animals. We expect Almond will be ready for adoption toward the beginning of July, at which point she can be spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
