Violet is a great cat for "cat people" who would rather skip the toe-biter kitten stage! She's only a year old, but is an old soul. She enjoys head scratches and pets, for 10 minutes at a time. She likes to snooze in the company of humans but is not a lap cat. She's not a furniture scratcher, though she loves a good scratching post. She's also a "cheap date", preferring dry food to canned! She has been in foster care while raising her 5 beautiful kittens. She is now spayed and ready to settle down with her forever family.

She is very shy and takes a while to relax around new people (she hides and hisses but doesn't swat or bite), but she is such a sweet girl once she gets to know you.
