Thunder is currently in foster care where she is raising her two babies. They are nearly adoption ready which means it will soon be time for mama Thunder to be spayed and live her best life as a single, no longer reproducing kitty. After countless nights tending to her little ones and keeping them fed, she is eager to start her new life where she can take more of the spotlight and focus on the things she likes – which includes being pet and lounging about. Thunder is very people-oriented, she seeks out attention and pets and will make “biscuits” with her front feet when receiving attention. She is a little wary of new people at first, but quickly adjusts and shows her true colors when she feels comfortable.

Thunder is fully litterbox trained and in general is a clean cat who doesn’t make too much of a mess nor does she damage anything with her claws. She’s very well behaved and is a relaxed cat, happy to simply be around her people. She has not yet interacted with other pets, so we’re unsure how she does with other animals so always recommend a slow, controlled introduction for best results. While she hasn’t met other four-legged animals, she has met a human toddler, which many say are animal-like, and did very well with the child’s boisterous presence. She appears friendly with children.

Her adoption fee is $40 and she is current on her vaccines, microchipped and soon to be spayed. She has no known medical or behavior challenges. To find out more about Thunder, please email Diane.Summerse@ocfl.net.
